We help businesses get seen on Google. We focus on two key areas – Pay-Per-Click (PPC) ad campaigns and Search Engine Optimisation (both Local SEO and National/Global SEO). Both contribute to Google search success. We’ve developed our very own Keyword IQ system which is the most comprehensive approach to managing pay-per-click campaigns on Google, Bing and Yahoo. We use multiple digital tools and resources (Google’s Keyword Planner is just the start) including our own software to develop extremely strategic internet marketing campaigns. We also consider SEO as part of our wider digital strategies – both on-page and off-page strategies (including link building).
Pay-per-click ads are charged back to the advertiser, every time a user ‘clicks’ on the ad (the clue is in the name). That’s a different model to Facebook advertising (for example) which charges the advertiser based on impressions (how many people see the advert).
There are many different variables when setting up PPC campaigns that advertisers need to consider – available search queries, search volumes, ad relevancy, bid strategy, match type, campaign budgets. Ultimately, it’s about getting the most relevant traffic to your website and generating the highest possible return-on-investment.
We’ve been working on Pay-Per-Click campaigns on Google for over ten years. However, Google PPC campaigns are not the only PPC channel. Bing PPC campaigns are also available and should be considered depending on available budget, preferred audiences and location.
Over many years of working on pay-per-click campaigns, we’ve developed our own Keyword IQ system which is the most sophisticated way of getting the highest possible number of relevant clicks for the lowest possible budget.
Most agencies will build campaigns using Google’s recommendations. We consider Google’s recommendations but develop relevant keyword lists using Seed and Expanded keyword column combinations to build out all available keyword search term variables. Then, we create SKAG’s (single keyword ad groups) to be able to bid in the most efficient way possible over time.
Search Engine Optimisation is one of the fundamentals of digital marketing. There are many different factors that Google considers when determining where a website page ranks on Google but ultimately, it’s about building digital trust (with Google) so they know the information you provide is relevant, reputable and accurate.
Different sources online provide information about the complete list of SEO factors that Google considers and the importance of each factor overall in determining SERP’s (Search Engine Result Pages).
Many SEO agencies provide very limited SEO strategies and focus on the tactics that they’re competent at. Holt Digital Marketing will provide a completely bespoke strategy depending on your domain age, competition, industry, existing keywords, keyword search volumes, website structure, backlinks and domain authority.
We’ll also consider your SEO strategy in conjunction with your overall digital strategy and budget so you make the best possible decisions when spending your precious marketing budget.
